Fatal pedestrian collision near Nipawin

Nipawin RCMP are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision. 

Police were called to a collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 55 east of Nipawin early Friday morning. 

A 30-year-old woman from Red Earth Cree Nation was declared dead at the scene, and her family has been notified. 

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and Nipawin RCMP and a Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
