Mustangs commit another future piece
The Melfort Mustangs have committed yet another young player for the future. Forward Jaxson Brick is the newest member of the organization.
A 17-year-old native of Brandon, Man., has been with his hometown Wheat Kings organization for the past four seasons.
During the 2022/23 campaign, Brick played with the U15 AAA Wheat Kings, posting 42 points in 33 games. Meanwhile, over a combined 115 contests during the last three seasons (2023-2026), the 2008-born forward has amassed 98 points with the U18 AAA club.
Additionally, in 43 playoff matches over the course of his career, Brick, who stands in at 5’11 and 146 lbs, has 29 points. He also competed in seven games at the 2023/24 Telus Cup and had a single goal.
