Sinkhole causes traffic issues east of Tisdale
Heads-up to drivers travelling east of Tisdale.
Traffic is being affected for a small portion of Highway 3 just east of the Eldersley turnoff due to a sinkhole.
“The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways expects to complete temporary repairs on Highway 3 about 17 kilometres east of Tisdale and restore normal two-way traffic before the start of the Victoria Day long weekend, pending weather,” the Ministry of Highways said in a statement.
The area was reduced to one-lane traffic on Wednesday after a culvert failed due to excessive water.
