Hawks sign Alberta Forward

The Nipawin Hawks have added a player for the upcoming season.

Nipawin has signed forward Gavin Wrathall.

Wrathall, an 18-year-old native of Chestermere, Alta., has spent the past three seasons in the Okotoks Oilers program.

Split between their U18 AAA and U17 AAA squads, the 2008-born attacker has registered 143 points (63G, 80A) over 109 contests.

“Wrathall really showcased his offensive creativity and ability to produce at both ends of the scoresheet. His offensive instincts, vision and finishing ability make him an exciting addition as we continue to build a competitive roster for the upcoming season,” read a press release from the Hawks’ organization.
