Kozun, Team Canada to play for Bronze at Paralympic Games
The Canadian Women’s Paralympic sitting volleyball team will play for a Bronze Medal on Saturday.
Team Canada got beat in straight sets earlier today (Thurs) by Team China. The Chinese are currently the best country at the Paralympic Games, as they have a combined 166 medals, 74 of which are Gold. Great Britain has the next highest medal count at 84 in total.
The Canadians have 20 medals in total (14th place), which consist of six gold, six silver, and eight bronze.
According to the World ParaVolley sitting volleyball rankings, Canada is number one in the world, while China was fourth.
