Mustangs climb CJHL Top 20 ranking; Thornton SJHL D-man of the week
The Melfort Mustangs have climbed the ladder in the latest Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top 20 rankings.
Melfort is now ranked number eight in the country, up from 16th last week.
The Mustangs are riding a three-game winning streak after a 5-1 win over Kindersley on Friday and a 6-2 victory in Nipawin on Saturday.
Melfort will host the Battlefords North Stars at the Palace tonight (Tuesday).
