Donna Margaret Coopersmith (nee Andal) passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the age of 82 at the Melfort Hospital.

Donna was born on December 28, 1941 in Melfort, SK to parents Barbara and Thorvald Andal. Donna attended school in Queens Park completing grade 8 and then high school in Melfort.  Donna then worked at the Resource Store.  From there Donna moved to  Star City and worked in the telephone office. She then worked in clothing stores and Sarah’s Attic.

In 1961, she married the love of her life, Vernon ‘Hank’ Coopersmith and they resided at the farm north of Star City for 36 years when they moved to Melfort. Then Donna moved  to the Weldon Care Home where she resided until her short stay in the hospital.

Her memory will be cherished by: her daughter Gaylene; grandson Brandon; brother-in-law Morley (Gayle);  brother Morley and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends, cousins and aunts.

Donna’s Funeral Service will be held from the Star City United Church, Star City, SK on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  Interment to follow in the Star City Cemetery.
