Christine passed away on August 20, 2025 in Prince Albert, SK. She is survived by her son Tyson Sewap; sisters Ruby Works and Rachel Tessier; nieces Brianna (Tretian), Aaliyah; nephew Benjiman; great-nieces Evangeline and Jinora; her sister by choice Pauline Lorenz (Derek Bird) and her children William (aka Liam) Barrowclough, Lance Gareau, and Jesse Gareau (Chalyn Lai),  best friend of 26 years Jennifer Duquette, Myles Pelletier, her aunts, uncles, numerous cousins; and all who knew and loved her. Christine was predeceased by her mother Bonnie Works; her grandparents Peter and Olive Works; her partner Wilfred Sewap; uncles Bill, Allan and Russell; and her furry friends Peanut, Honey, Farley, Shaggy, and Scrappy. A Celebration of Christine’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue.
