Tractor catches fire near Kinistino

The Melfort Fire Department (MFD) was called to a tractor fire south of Kinistino.

When crews arrived on Tuesday afternoon, the tractor was already fully engulfed in flames.

Fire crews established a perimeter to ensure the fire didn’t spread.

The MFD also responded to a carbon monoxide false alarm Wednesday night which was the department’s 100th call of 2025.
