Hawks surge in CJHL rankings

Nipawin Hawks fifth-ranked team in Canada

A huge jump for the Nipawin Hawks in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Top 20 rankings.

The Hawks move from the 16th ranked team in the country to number five.

Nipawin has won five straight games, including a 6-1 win in Warman Friday night.

The 6-1 Hawks will host Flin Flon tonight at the Centennial Arena, with puck drop at 7 p.m.

The Weyburn Red Wings are the only other SJHL team in the rankings, at number 19.
