Assault, thefts under investigation by Humboldt RCMP

A busy time for Humboldt/Lanigan RCMP as they investigate several incidents.

An unidentified hitchhiker was picked up in the vicinity of the community of Lanigan on Nov. 8 and later assaulted the driver and stole the vehicle.

Humboldt RCMP are hoping to find the motorist that helped and gave the victim that was injured in the incident a ride to the City of Saskatoon.

In the early morning hours of Oct. 27, a business in the R.M. of LeRoy was broken into.

A vehicle had driven through the main gate and took a couple hundred pounds of copper wiring before leaving, and the RCMP want to know if anyone has information on the incident.

A rural property in the R.M. of Wolverine was broken into on Oct. 20.

Three storage sheds and outbuildings were broken into, and various tools were stolen.
