Another Postponement

Mustangs versus Millionaires postponed to later date

Dec 17, 2025 | 12:16 PM

The Melfort Mustangs and Melville Millionaires game on Wednesday night has been postponed.

The contest marks one of a handful of SJHL games which have been postponed in the last 24 hours.

Tuesday’s Broncos/North Stars game was postponed, while this evening’s Ice Wolves/Hawks and Klippers/Wolverines contests were also pushed back.

The reasoning for the Mustangs/Millionaires postponement has been cited as poor road conditions and sickness.

For Melfort, the postponement of tonight’s game is also their second match in the last eight days that has been rescheduled.

Last Tuesday’s matchup against La Ronge had to be rescheduled due to issues with the Ice Wolves’ ice plant.

Neither last week’s contest nor Wednesday’s match for the Stangs has been officially determined, with a new date of play.

Tonight would’ve marked the third meeting of the season between Melfort and Melville, all of which have occurred in the past two weeks, with the Millionaires having won both so far.

The Mustangs are now next set to play this weekend in a home-and-home set with the Nipawin Hawks.

Those matchups will begin at the Northern Lights Palace on Friday, marking the final two games of the 2025 portion of the season for both clubs.
