Melfort crews to remove snow along Saskatchewan Drive on Monday

The City of Melfort is warning residents of a road closure due to snow removal. 

Crews will be working on Saskatchewan Drive from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2. 

Sections of Saskatchewan Dr. between Broadway Ave. and Assiniboia St. will be closed “to facilitate snow removal activities in a phased approach to minimize disruption,” according to the City’s social media pages. 

Local traffic will be detoured to Burrows Ave., with large or heavy truck traffic diverted to South Ave.  

“The City asks all drivers to respect and obey the detour signage and refrain from entering the work zone,” the release said. “We thank everyone for their patience and understanding as the crews complete this important work.”
