Grey Cup coming to Melfort next Monday

An iconic trophy is coming to Melfort next week.

The City of Melfort has announced the Grey Cup will be coming to the Kerry Vickar Centre Monday, Feb. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. 

Their post stated more details about the Grey Cup’s appearance in Melfort will be released soon. 

The Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Montreal Alouettes 25-17 to win the 2025 Grey Cup in Winnipeg, and the trophy will be coming to communities across the province over the coming months.

Grey Cup champion Logan Ferland played his high school football with the Melfort Comets.
