Dell was born on April 6, 1929 in Melfort, Sk. to Samuel Hugh Scott and Marie Alice Cazes.

On October 8, 1948 Dell married David Donald Menzies.  They had six children: Gloria, Iris, Melvin, Gary, Brian and Connie.  Dell and Don farmed in the Beatty area for most of their married life.  They moved into Melfort where they enjoyed bingo, family and friends.

Don passed away in 1995 and Dell continued living in Melfort until her passing on Friday March 13, 2026 at the Parkland Care Home in Melfort.  She will be missed by all of here family  and friends.

Dell is survived by her children: Gloria (Dan) and family, Iris and family, Mel (Jo-Anne) and family, Gary (Jo-Anne) and family, Brian (Laurie) and family, Connie (Ron) and family.  Twenty grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Don, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
