Ice Wolves McKinnon, Broncos Miller finalists for RBC Community Ambassador
What was once 12 players is now down to three, as the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has announced its finalists for this year’s RBC Community Ambassador award.
One of Ryder McKinnon (La Ronge Ice Wolves), Callum Creig (Yorkton Terriers), and/or Connor Miller (Humboldt Broncos representative, but now plays for the Flin Flon Bombers) will be announced as this season’s league ambassador during the Canterra Seeds Cup final.
Each player has already been celebrated during an RBC Game Night and honoured with a $1,000 donation from RBC to a school in their local community.
However, the winner, selected through a fan vote at the conclusion of the regular season, will be honoured with an additional donation of $2,500 made in their name.
