Travel not recommended in parts of northeast

Another shot of winter weather has led to some challenges on local highways. 

Travel is not recommended in the Nipawin, Carrot River, White Fox, Choiceland, and Smeaton areas. 

The Highway Hotline is reporting swirling, loose, and drifting snow, along with drifts, slush, and ice, along with heavy snow and windy conditions. 

The snow is expected to continue through the day, with another system coming through the province Thursday that is expecting to drop more snow.
