Driving could be an issue thanks to snowy, icy conditions

It could be another challenging day on local highways after snowfall across the northeast. 

According to the Highway Hotline, roads across the area are covered with snow, with drifting snow and icy sections. 

Snow is expected off-and-on throughout the day, with wind gusts up to 50 km/h. 

That could lead to drifting snow and reduced visibility in spots, along with ice buildup.
