A Nipawin man faces charges after a Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit investigation.

The ICE unit executed a search warrant at a home in Nipawin on March 25, and they seized electronic devices at the scene.

34-year-old Douglas Elmer Ray Barks of Nipawin is charged with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material and making available child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Barks appeared in court last Thursday and was released with court-imposed conditions until his next appearance in Nipawin Provincial Court on July 22.
