Mary F. Huber was born on June 16, 1946. She passed away on May 19, 2026.
Mary was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, to Raymond and Georgina Cole. She was the oldest of nine children. From a young age, Mary helped with cooking, cleaning, and many other chores over the years, showing the caring and hardworking spirit that would define her life.
Mary met the love of her life, Clarence, and after several years of courtship, they were united in marriage on November 9, 1963. The following year, they were blessed with their beloved daughter, Sharon, who brought endless joy to their lives.
Mary held many different jobs throughout the years. She cooked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool for seven years and spent more than 20 years cooking at the Melfort Curling Club. During the summers, when she was not working at the curling rink, she could often be found working at the Four Seasons Greenhouse, where she dedicated over 20 years of service.
Mary was known for her strong work ethic, kind heart, and devotion to her family, friends, and community. She was actively involved in many community organizations and boards throughout the years, including more than 40 years as a proud member of the Royal Purple.
She especially loved camping and traveling, creating treasured memories with family and friends along the way. Whether gathered around a campfire, sharing laughter over coffee, or exploring new places, Mary found joy in life’s simple moments and in the people she loved most. Her warmth, generosity, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
