Man wanted on warrants, receives two year jail sentence for flight from police
A man fleeing police in a reported stolen vehicle crossed a median and was observed travelling 20 to 40 km/h over the speed limit on a snow covered road.
Those details were heard Friday morning at Brennan Sewap’s sentencing hearing at Prince Albert Provincial Court. He received a two-year jail sentence for events that occurred in the city on Dec. 23, 2025.
Through his lawyer, Sewap pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, flight from police and dangerous driving.
At the time of the pursuit, Sewap was wanted on a warrant for a robbery that occurred on Muskoday First Nation.
