The town of Carrot River has elected its new councillor.
Dylan Borody was elected in Wednesday’s byelection, receiving 88 votes.
Borody works at Edgewood Forest Products and has previous experience as councillor and as acting mayor.
Former fire chief D. Scott Debienne received 48 votes.
The vote became necessary after the resignation of councillor Chris Bergen.
