Cool conditions persist, frost a possibility Sunday morning
It’s a significant sign that summer is quickly coming to an end.
The North Battleford, Prince Albert, and Northeast areas could see frost overnight Saturday.
Environment and Climate Change Canada Meteorologist Terri Lang said a large ridge of high pressure is coming into the province from the Arctic, bringing cooler temperatures.
“As that settles in over the weekend and the skies clear and the wind speeds drop, that really increases the risk of frost,” Lang said.
