Tisdale issues request for proposal for new town office
The town of Tisdale has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design and construction of their new town hall.
Town council decided earlier this year to move forward with construction of a new town hall after being forced from their previous location two years ago due to mould issues. The town office staff were temporarily moved to the RECplex and they have been there since, while the previous building was demolished last fall.
Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Lovely Magnaye said they are looking to build a functional, accessible, modern, and cost-effective office that will meet the needs of residents and staff.
“Council has expressed its intention to keep the overall project cost below $3 million,” Magnaye said. “We recognize the importance of balancing the community’s needs with long-term financial stability.”
