New scholarship announced in honour of late Lake Lenore goalie
A new scholarship in Saskatchewan is going to give a young hockey player a boost to their post-secondary education.
The Craig Hartl Memorial Scholarship will award $1,000 to a graduating goaltender with three years’ experience.
The scholarship is in memory of Craig Hartl, a Lake Lenore, Sask. native who passed away in January of 2018. At the time, he was playing goalie for the Aberdeen Knights senior hockey team.
