Bobby Joe Berezowski was born in Prince Albert on June 24, 1952 to parents John and Sadie Berezowski. He was the second of four children.
Bob grew up on a farm south east of Meath Park. He attended David School and then “Tech” in PA. This is where he pursued his love of welding.
Cutting pulp was his first paying job, followed by employment with PA Foundry. This was followed by a short stint in the military. After returning from down east he took a job with Saskatoon Boiler. In 1979 an opportunity to work at CSP Foods in Nipawin arose. He also worked on the construction of the François Finlay dam, construction on the Nipawin Union Hospital and then in 1985 he opened up Westside Welding and Machining. The big bucks in the oil field lured him to work on the road.
Amidst his busy work schedule he found time to marry Elaine Palidwor on July 10, 1976. To this union two beautiful daughters were born. Michelle in 1978 and Lana in 1980. Nipawin was home to this family of four. They enjoyed boating, snowmobiling and motor homing. Other activities Bob enjoyed were fishing, hunting, canoeing and playing Kaiser or Canasta with friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, including the four legged ones.
Bob spent the last 3 years building his dream cabin at Emma Lake. Poor health prevented the completion of this project.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elaine, daughter, Michelle (Arley Kimmy) and grandsons Riley & Jacob, daughter, Lana (Alec Dyok) and grandson AJ, princess Ksenia and baby Cameron. He also leaves behind his mother, Sadie Berezowski, brother, Maurice (Joyce) and family: Christopher (Jacquiline), Monica (Justin), sister, Mariann (Rick Pender) and family: Silvanna & Mathew, brother, Boris (Kenna) and family, Kailee & Tanner, nephews and nieces: Lorne (Janet) Esayenko, Brian (Susan) Esayenko, Amanda Esayenko and a host of friends and relatives.
Bob was predeceased by his father, John in 2014 and mother in-law, Mary in 1992, along with brother and sister in-law, Bill and Gloria Esayenko and nephew, Murray Esayenko.
Rest in peace Bob, you fought a good fight and now your pain is over my dear.
