Merise Martin was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on August 29, 1925. She passed away in Melfort Hospital on October 20, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Merise married Frank Martin on October 23, 1945. Born to this marriage were seven children; Larry Martin, Jim (Lupita) Martin, Betty (Roy) Herr, Barney (Rose Marie) Martin, Marian (Adrien) Perrot, Ian (Pauline) Martin, Karen (Calvin) Carfantan; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Merise was predeceased by her husband Frank Martin in 1996, daughter-in-law Glenda Martin in 2018, and great granddaughter Dayna Tremblay in 2005. 
As per Merise’s request, no public funeral service will be held.
