Orma Jean Taylor
July 12, 1936 – September 05, 2018
Orma Jean Taylor was born to Roland and Olive Seale on July 12, 1936. She was raised on a dairy farm near Melfort, Saskatchewan. At age 12 she was led to Christ by her father and faithfully served the Lord throughout her life.
Orma took training to be a Registered Nurse at Winnipeg Children’s Hospital beginning in 1954. She married Ross Taylor on November 6, 1957. She and Ross had five children, Maureen, Morgan, Maxine, Marlin and Myles.
Orma was dedicated nurse for 39 years at the Melfort Union Hospital. During their married years, Ross and Orma enjoyed travelling. They were fortunate to visit every continent in the world except Africa. Orma so enjoyed her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than hugs and kisses from them. She followed each one’s accomplishments and loved to tell others about their adventures.
Orma is survived by her husband Ross, daughter Maureen (Dean) Wendelborg, son Morgan (Valerie) Taylor, daughter Maxine (Doug) Watt, son Myles (Raylene) Taylor. Orma has now joined their son Marlin in heaven’s glory.
Orma was a generous contributor to many different charities. Please consider any charity of your choice if you choose to donate.
