Melvin “Herb” Dyke was born on September 2, 1942 to Chris and Annie Dyke. Herb passed away on March 8, 2018 after a short courageous battle with cancer at the age of 75 years with his family by his side.

Herb loved to fish, camp, play crib, drink vodka, spend time with his grandchildren and most of all visit and tell stories.

Herb loved his many years working as a mechanic. As we all know he was a true Dodge man. He worked in maintenance at MUCC for 10 years before retiring and taking up the Bold and the Beautiful.

Herb was predeceased by his parents Chris and Annie; sisters: Audrey Tkachuk and Muriel Revering.

Left to cherish Herb’s memory is his wonderful wife of 47 years Bev; son Jason (Kim) and (Vicky) and children: Dyllion, Roquelle (Chance) and great granddaughter Brynlee; Shay, Tyler, Desiree, Christian (April) and great grandson Grayson; daughter Shannon and children: Brandon (Shelby), Austin (Megan) and Brooklyn; “honorary” daughter Lori (Dwayne) Giles and children: Taylor and Dawson; and of course Herb’s puppy, Pebbles.
