Marjorie was born January 5, 1917 in Regina to Fred and Jean Turner. She passed away at Pineview Nursing Home October 17, 2017 at the age of 100 years, with her family at her side.
Marj married Earl Robinson on October 23, 1940, and together they farmed east of Codette. Marj helped on the farm and was very involved in the community. She taught 4-H sewing and knitting. She ran the cafeteria in the LP Miller High School for 11 years.
Marj was predeceased by her husband, Earl, in 1989. Marj maintained her sense of humour to the end, and was quick with a witty response at all times!
Marj is survived by her son, Glen (Rosemary) Edmonton, AB; daughter Leatha Anderson (Dale), Prince Albert, SK. Her grandchildren Kelly Robinson (Keith Manegre), Edmonton, Leeann Douglas (Scott), Sydney, Australia, Scott Anderson (Renelle), Prince Albert, and Nicole German (Dean), Saskatoon. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Addison, Charlie, Kate, Shae, Aidan and Nathan.
Mom spent the last eight years of her life as a resident at Pineview and was so happy and well cared for at this facility. She thoroughly enjoyed knitting “wash cloths” and giving them to the various care providers. The staff, without exception, were absolutely amazing, and Marj’s family want to express their sincere appreciation for all that they did to make mom’s stay there pleasant and enjoyable.
