Winter By the Lake at Great Blue Heron Provincial Park

Start your February off with Sask Parks this Saturday, February 1, at Great Blue Heron Provincial Park!

Our second annual Winter by the Lake event will take place at Anglin Lake Bridge.

Join us around the campfire from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for hotdogs and a toasty cup of cocoa.

Take in one-of-a-kind views by joining us on some of our favourite sections of trails at Anglin Lake.

Snowshoes will be provided by Sask Parks on a first come, first served basis. Participants are required to bring their own cross-country skiing equipment.

-Snowshoe sessions will start at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
-Skiers will depart at 1:30 p.m.
-Each session will take approximately one hour.

NEW THIS YEAR: Explore the groomed trails to discover ten different “animals” that call the park home. Take a selfie with three silhouettes to be entered into a draw for one night in Great Blue Heron Provincial Park’s Mongolian-style yurt or two nights of free camping in the park.
