City of Humboldt releases tenders for Health and Safety Audit
The City of Humboldt is looking to improve their Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols.
The city has released tenders for a Health and Safety Audit for July. Director of Protective Services Mike Kwasnica said OHS has been on their minds for a while now.
“We’ve been doing it the same for quite a number of years,” he said. “And this is basically just a checklist to make sure that we’re covering all the bases that we need to cover and to make sure that we’re doing what we’re supposed to be doing for a corporation the size that we are.”
According to Kwasnica, the winner of the tender will be looking through numerous pieces of the OHS protocols for the City of Humboldt. Everything from OHS meetings, to process after an accident, and processes around OHS infractions at the city will be reviewed by the auditor.
