TODD GOUDY, SASK PARTY: Todd was raised in Melfort as the third son in a family focused on supporting western Canadian farmers. After graduation, Todd moved to Albania in the early 90’s. He worked to serve the people as they were attempting to rebuild democracy, freedoms of faith, and commerce after the fall of the communist government. Todd and his wife Tannis have six children. He spent most of his married life as a minister in the Baptist church, and during that time had a furniture manufacturing company, as well as serving 10 years as Melfort’s trustee on the Northeast School Division and chaplain for the local RCMP. Todd has served as MLA for Melfort since 2018.
MELANIE DYCK, NDP: Melanie was born and raised in Rosetown. She has a Master’s degree in English from the University of Saskatchewan and works for Intuit as a tax professional.
TRISTAN ST. GERMAIN, GREEN PARTY: Tristan attended École St. Anne French immersion elementary school in Prince Albert and graduated from Carlton Comprehensive High School there. He then worked as a cook and assistant manager/supervisor at Boston Pizza in PA for six years. Tristan has since then worked on farms (his current employment), in construction, and as a wildfire firefighter. Tristan lived in Melfort for 7 years and has family here, including a four-year-old daughter.
