CHRIS BEAUDRY, SASK PARTY: Beaudry served as part of the coaching staff for the Humboldt Broncos until the tragic accident in 2018. Since then, he has engaged in public speaking and advocacy across North America focusing on mental health, trauma, and grief. He helped establish the first online mental health course for students through the Sun West School Division, and has worked with the Canadian Mental Health Association. Beaudry has been active in his local community serving on multiple boards including the Prairie North Co-operative, the Living Dying Project, and the Rose Valley SCC. Beaudry and his wife Richelle reside on his family farm near St. Front with their 3 daughters.
LORNE SCHROEDER, NDP: Lorne Schroeder and his wife live in Leroy, Saskatchewan. Schroeder owns and operates a mixed cattle and grain farm while attending seminars to stay current with innovative, sustainable agriculture practices. He has served as Reeve for the RM of Leroy, a School Board Chair, and the board of directors for Saskatchewan Organics. He is a proud father of five, and grandfather of eleven.
GILLIAN HALYK, GREEN PARTY: Gillian grew up in Tuffnell, SK near Foam Lake, where she now lives. She attended university at the U of S where she studied Animal Science and Ag Business. Gillian held a long-term position with the provincial SPCA as an Animal Protection Officer. Then retraining as a massage therapist, she has pursued that field to this day in the town of Foam Lake. She also helps her parents manage their cattle herd and is slowly growing her own herd.
CLINT GOTTINGER, UNITED PARTY: Clint Gottinger was born in Balcarres, and grew up in Hudson Bay, he now calls Kelvington his hometown. Living on an acreage two miles from where his father and grandmother were born and raised he has strong family roots in the area.
A husband of thirty years and a father, he owns and operates a towing company in the Kelvington area. In his spare time, Clint is a classic car enthusiast, traveling all over Saskatchewan to car shows. He also travels around performing in his one-man band entertaining people in surrounding communities.
