SJHL announces 2020/2021 schedule, pending approval

Oct 27, 2020 | 1:06 PM

Tuesday, Oct. 27 marked a big step in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s (SJHL) effort to get a regular season underway.

The league announced a shortened schedule on Tuesday, giving each team 50 games, starting on Friday, Nov. 6. Not much was given by the SJHL, but they did say it’s still pending approval from the provincial health authority.

Teams will see their local rival 10 times, their other division foes eight times, another pair of teams six times, and the rest of the league twice.

The league would end on April 3 if things were to go according to plan.
