SHA temporarily closes Naicam health clinic

Naicam Primary Health Care Clinic is temporarily closed.

The Saskatchewan Healthy Authority (SHA) announced the closure would take in effect immediately as of Thursday, Dec. 10.

The SHA cited a staffing issue as the reason, as its unable to provide physician support.

A reopening date hasn’t been announced.

The SHA said if an emergency transpires, Naicam and area residents can call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency department in Melfort. Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine by calling 8-1-1.
