Hope and Future: Carrot River Valley MLA excited for vaccines and getting back to business

The COVID-19 pandemic makes 2020 a year many may prefer to forget but there is hope for the future. We’ve decided to make that the focus of our series of end-of-year stories.

Carrot River Valley’s member of the legislature assembly (MLA) is eager to get back to business in 2021.

Having been elected for a fourth term in October 2020, Fred Bradshaw expects a few projects to unfold in the region in 2021, including Highway 55. He said the portion for the highway from Carrot River to Red Earth Cree Nation has been tendered for construction, which will help move product from Northeast Saskatchewan to Manitoba.

While optimistic for the future, Bradshaw is happy to be rid of 2020.
