It is with heartfelt sadness that the family announces the passing of Ronald Kenneth (Ron) Glendenning on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Ron was born on October 24, 1945 in Melfort, SK to Ernie and Irma Glendenning, where he grew up on the honey farm east of Pleasantdale, SK.

Ron married Terri on September 30, 1967.  They moved to the honey farm in Pleasantdale, SK where they made it their home and raised their 4 sons.

They were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses together in Prince George, BC on July 17, 1970.

Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  Spending time with his family and friends brought him great joy.  We all remember Ron’s generosity and his sense of humour.

Ron had a romance with the road.  He loved traveling, especially to Mexico with his close friends and family.

During his battle with cancer, it was obvious to all that knew him that he drew strength, comfort and endurance from his God Jehovah.  He looked forward to the time when God’s Kingdom will take away death forever.

Ron is survived by his son David; son Steven (Amber); son Mark (Chisa) with their children Finn, Jersey and Jackson; son Kyle (Andrea) with their children Noah and Isabel; sibling Ross (Melanie).

Ron was predeceased by his loving wife Terri; parents Ernie and Irma.

He was loved by all and will be missed.
