Dianne Dagenais was born to Earl and Myrtle Dagenais on February 12, 1943. The only daughter of 7 children.  She passed away in Melfort on September 5, 2022 at the age of 79 years.

Mom met the love of her life while dad was working construction near Humboldt.  Dianne married Armand Dodd in Humboldt on February 16, 1963. They lived in       numerous locations while working construction.  They settled in Pleasantdale in 1972.

Mom worked many jobs throughout her life, but her most important position was “MOM”. She was very active in the Pleasantdale Community and Village until they moved to Melfort in 2011, where she then became part of the Consolation Manor Family.

Mom’s ultimate joy were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her.  Her great grandchildren put the biggest smile on her face.

We know that mom is with dad, looking over us all as we gather to celebrate her life.

Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Karla (Roy) Williams and their family: Cody (Leslie) Williams, Duncan, Ryley and Emma; Chance Williams; Lane (Becky) Williams, Gauge and Tatum; Laryssa Williams (Stu); Patricia (Ken) Gausman and their family: Tim Gausman (Jamie), Daxtyn and Hayes; Becky (Scott) Scheller, Abby and Ally; Rhonda (Brent) O’Brien and their children: Kendra (Chad) Vanderbyl, Parker, Hudson and Boedy; Shelby (Brandon) Sloan, Lochlan; Kelsey and “daughter #4” Jolene Papich (Vic); brothers: Corky (Rita) Dagenais, Doug (Veronica) Dagenais and Barry (Marilyn) Dagenais; sisters-in-law: Nora Dagenais, Eileen Dagenais, Magdeline Dagenais, Elaine McLean, Rita (Rae) Lloyd and Liz (Tom) Steen; brother-in-law O’Dell (Doreen) Dodd and many  nieces and nephews.

Mom is predeceased by her husband Armand; parents Earl and Myrtle Dagenais; brothers: Melvin, Ken and Russell; in-laws Cecil and Marg Dodd and brother-in-law Lorne Dodd

Mom will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

A service celebrating Dianne’s life will be held from the Pleasantdale Community Hall, Pleasantdale, SK on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM.

The interment will follow at a later date in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Columbarium.

Friends so wishing may make memorial contributions to STARS, or to the Melfort Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
