Riders Losing Their Fans with Anemic Performance

The worst thing you can imagine a football player hearing is boos. On Friday night Rider fans unveiled something worse – laughter.
Laughing at their team seems the only way to cope with a season that started with promise and has since circled around the drain and threatening to take the Riders out of the prospect of playing in the Grey Cup in their new stadium.
The Riders inability to pass block was near the top of the list, with even the hopes of a run blocking game muzzled by the Edmonton Elk. The Riders gave up eight sacks and the chicken and the egg argument with Fajardo – he is not doing well because of the lack of blocking, or he isn’t doing well because he is not that good – will not be answered this year.
