Richard William Wingate was born in Leicester, England on November 13, 1944.  He passed away peacefully on November 2, 2022 surrounded by family in the Melfort Hospital.

Richard was the son of Horace and Flora Wingate.  Richard, his sister Susanne Vidalin and their parents arrived in Halifax, NS from England in 1955 where Richard later attended Acadia University.

He loved golf, the Calgary Flames, Elvis, ice cream, and pizza!

He is survived by his sons Richard, Jordan, and Taylor, his sister Susanne, and seven grandchildren.

A private family service will be held.
