Melfort ships Ward away to Manitoba

Brett Ward is no longer a member of the Melfort Mustangs.

The 2004-born defenceman is headed to the Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN) Blizzard of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL).

In exchange, Melfort will receive a Player Development Fee (PDF).

The Spruce Grove, Alberta product, played 17 games for the Mustangs this season, scoring one goal and adding two assists.
