Ontario musher wins Canadian Challenge

Jesse Terry of Sioux Lookout, Ont, has crossed the finish line of the 10-dog Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race.
He travelled from Elk Ridge to Missinippi, a distance of more than 280 kilometres, in just over 33 hours.
Rhonda Heerschap of Nolalu, Ont. was expected to finish second Wednesday night according to the GPS tracking. She left La Ronge bound for the finish at Missinippi with only 6 dogs of the original 10.
The Canadian Challenge 8-dog race begins Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
