1929  – 2023

Wesley Reginald Phillips was born February  4, 1929 in Nipawin, Saskatchewan to Leslie and Bernice Phillips. He was the 4th eldest of 9 children. Throughout his life he was a mechanic and enjoyed tinkering on small engines. He spent many hours helping on the family farm by Aylsham.

Wes enjoyed music, dancing, playing piano and violin.  He also enjoyed gardening and was always blessed with a bountiful crop and loved sharing it with neighbors and friends. There was always excitement when a card came of Rummy was had and would spend hours playing with his grandchildren. We will miss him dearly.

Wes passed away at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the age of 94.

Wes is survived by his son Ken (Karen) Phillips, and daughter-in-law Brenda Phillips; his grandchildren Stan Phillips, Tarra (Greg) Larson, Chris (Vanessa) Phillips, and Lindsay (Stephen) Dewald; his 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson; his brother Larry (Charlene) Phillips; and sisters Mavis Hornseth, Joan Johansson, and Nora Botterill.

He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Bernice Phillips; sons Stanley Phillips and Terry Phillips; siblings Ruth Hansen, Vivian McFayden, Donelda Millham, and Ronald Phillips.
