Habitat for Humanity still seeking store manager in Melfort

Aug 10, 2018 | 5:32 PM

The ReUse Store is the biggest fundraiser for the Habitat for Humanity Chapter in Melfort, and administrators have been searching for a manager since late June.

Richelle Rogers, head chair of Habitat for Humanity Melfort, told northeastNOW they haven’t received one application for their part-time volunteer manager position.

To try and benefit the organization and the potential manager, Habitat for Humanity Melfort has adjusted the position from volunteer to one with an honorarium.

“Being a non-profit organization, our funding is always very tight,” Rogers said. “But we thought if we have the store ran more efficiently, we’d probably make more at the store. Therefore, a percentage of that would go to the manager.”
