Louise Larson

Louise was born June 24, 1940 in Lenvale, Saskatchewan to Andrew and Annie Kozak. In her earlier years she attended Belgrave school and later went to business college in Prince Albert. After completing her education she began working at the Bank of Commerce in Melfort as a bank teller and later at the Melfort Credit Union. She retired at the age of 55.
Louise met Owen at a church bazaar. After dating for a while they got married on November 30th, 1959 in Melfort. A house was built for them at the Larson farm in Bagley, Saskatchewan where they lived and farmed. They had two children, Darin John born in 1965 and Karen Ann in 1970.
Louise will be deeply missed by her children: Darin John Larson and Karen Ann McKeith (Kevin Koban); grandchildren: Dominic and Thomas McKeith; sister Ollie and husband Don Yaremko; sisters-in-law: Annette Kozak, Fern Kozak, Sandra Hendrickson and husband Clarence, Marilyn Friesen and husband Henry.
She was predeceased by her husband Owen; parents Andrew and Annie Kozak; brothers: Nick (Josephine), John, Bill, Peter and Orest; sisters: Micky and Olga; brother-in-law Len (Micky) Cissell; sisters-in-law: Ruth (Steve) Fidyk and Melba (Peter) Bergren.
Louise’s Funeral Service was held from the Carrot River Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 18, 2023 with Deacon Eldon Danielson officiating. The interment followed in the Carrot River Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
