A Nipawin company has been fined for failing to pay wages to employees.
Ridgewood Ranch Inc., which operates as Ridgewood Construction, was fined $5,600.
The company pleaded guilty to four violations under the The Saskatchewan Employment Act for failing to pay wages within 14 days of termination of employment. A release from the province said the charges stem from complaints received between February 10 and April 4 of last year. Employment Standards officers investigated and determined that the employees involved were owed more than $13,000.
They have since been paid the full amount.
