Hawks’ players sign university deals

Three members of the Nipawin Hawks have committed to play university hockey.

After speding four seasons with the Hawks, Brandan Arnold has agreed to play nexrt season for Mount Royal University. The announcement was Thursday morning.

Arnold played in 43 games this past season, and had 60 points with 21 goals and 13 assists. He would add another 10 goals and 11 assists during playoffs.

Defenceman Thomas Lenchyshyn was with the Hawks for two seasons and will suit up next season for the University of Manitoba. Lenchyshyn played 84 regular games during his time with the Hawks, scoring four goals and assisting on 36 others.
