Broncos home opener sold out

Sep 5, 2018 | 5:00 PM

On Sept. 12, Elgar Petersen Arena won’t have an empty seat and perhaps even a dry eye in the house.

Tickets for the Humboldt Broncos home opener went on sale Wednesday, Sept. 5 and the club announced at 11 a.m. the game was sold out.

It’s the Broncos’ first regular season home game since the bus crash in April 2018 which killed 16 members of the team and injured 13.

The Nipawin Hawks, the Broncos’ opponent on Sept. 12 and the team they were facing in the 2018 SJHL playoffs before the crash, have a limited number of tickets available for a fan bus.
