Pilot program now accepting expired car seats in Sask.

Nov 12, 2018 | 7:37 AM

The Saskatchewan Waste Reduction Council (SWRC) has partnered with ATMO, an Ontario-based company, to recycle expired car seats.

Until Nov. 14, car seats can be dropped off at Ready Set Baby in Saskatoon and Hello Baby in Regina.

People have to register their seat and pay a five-dollar fee online before arriving at the stores.

According to SWRC, the fee covers part of the cost of dismantling seats and typically costs $18.
